Jarvis Jones a native of Jackson, Mississippi, learned at a young age that he was destined for greatness. Being one to follow and not lead he ended up making a deadly mistake that cost him seven years of his life. After reentering society in 2013, he was accepted into college and graduated from Hinds Community College and later Jackson State University with honors. He was able to become a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a prestigious honor society.. In 2017, he published his book, Unspoken Truth, which tells of the mistakes he made and how he was able to overcome them. Now that he is on the right track, he spends time speaking with the youth to try and help them avoid common pitfalls and ultimately lead them to success
