Magee City Board of Alderman Meeting

The Board of Alderman met on January 5, 2016 @ 6:30 pm. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Jimmy Clyde. The pledge of allegiance was given and Patrick Brown led the prayer.

Minutes from last meeting were approved.

Employee resignation was accept on Reginald Landing from the Water Department.

A ribbon cutting for the frontage road will be schedule for later in the month.

The Claims document was approved.

In police matters Chief Crawford asked that board approved for Cory Cook and Gregory Chatman to attend jailer certification.

In Fire matters the fire department will like to donate some hose that is not on inventory to a volunteer department in north Mississippi that was destroyed in the recent tornado.

Mayor Clyde asked the board for approved to give a reel mower that is surplus to a village in Eden.

With no other business, meeting was adjourned until Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
