The night was a bitter cold one, but Magee girls started off the night strong with a win against Crystal Springs 4-0.
First half Brooke May would get Magee on the Scoreboard first, followed by another goal before half. The girls were up 2-0 going into halftime. After halftime Ashleigh Russell will score two goals to give the girls a shut out victory of 4-0 over Crystal Springs.
The boys would take the field and be just as impressive. Kyle Curlee would put his foot into action and put Magee on top with a goal early in the game. Kyle’s brother, Mason Curlee would answer with a goal as well. Magee was up 2-0. Kyle would come back shortly to score again making the score 3-0. Crystal Springs would answer and going into have time the score was Magee 3 Chrystal Springs 1. After halftime Cannon Collins would score Magee up 4-1. Jacob Berry would also get a chance at the goal Magee on top 4-1. Crystal Springs would answer with another goal. At the sound of the whistle to end the game Magee wins 5-2.
The boys and girls will be back in action Friday night at against Pelahatchie at home. Girls game start at 5:30 followed by the boys at 7:00. Come out and support Trojan Soccer as they play at home.
