The Magee 8th grade girls basketball team pulled a “repeat” this year winning the District Championship. The team is coached by Lauren Hayes (Head Coach) and Martha Cole (Assistant Coach).
With a record of 13-1, the girls lost earlier in the season to county rival Mendenhall. Not to be out done, the hard working Magee team began the climb in district play by defeating Mendenhall 28-26.
The District championship was played in Richland. Magee defeated Florence in round two 39-11.
