Reeves has announced his candidacy for the Republican nominee for Lt. Governor. Many are surprised that Tate did not have his “eye” on a bigger piece of the pie (governorship), but Reeves explained that he feels he can have a tremendous affect on the development of our state through his present position.

Tate’s visit presented the opportunity for the citizens of Simpson County to speak with Reeves on a personal basic.
MageeNews.com filmed (me !) several short videos of Reeves’ talk and questions from the public. An impromptu filming was conducted between Roy Terrell, Fontaine McNair and Tate Reeves.

I’m just saying…these may not be the best videos…but I think you will get the idea of what transpired!!!!

My staff is trying to “teach” me how to do things (pictures, video, interviews etc) better…but I’m struggling…I appreciate your patience and understanding.

I learned several interesting things…one of them being that Tommy Joe Harvey changed to the Republican Party about a month ago. Tommy Joe will be running for re-election as the Chancery Clerk.

As always, Lt Governor Tate Reeves was quite impressive. We’ve got a winner in Reeves for our state…and for Simpson County.
