Although Love’s Travel Stops has been in full swing for several weeks, the official Ribbon Cutting sponsored by the Magee Chamber of Commerce took place Thursday @ 9;30 AM. Local Chamber members, representatives of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, family and friends were on hand for the event. Chamber President Ian Coward welcomed Manager Steve Minyard to the community and praised the company for bringing their business to Magee. Steve explained that Love’s employs approximately seventy people and is home to Hardee’s. Love’s supports the local chapter of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and shared that one of their employees has cystic fibrosis. Love’s has a full service shop for 18 wheel trucks and an area where drivers can park their trucks while drivers rest. The store contains full showers and almost anything one would need! Along with Hardee’s Love’s offers excellent coffee, fruit, grilled food and a full line of snack foods.
On a “Sue” note: Ya’ll, that store has everything! Clothes, food, personal products, electronics, vehicle stuff…the store is full…excellent lighting…no reason to be scared pumping gas at Love’s…everyone can see you!
Love’s brought us a red light! Did ya’ll know that Love’s paid for the installation of that light? Presently, the Magee store is a model store for others…there is not another Love’s in the country like Magee’s Love”s! (I think that is kind of neat). According to my coffee drinking friends, the coffee is excellent!
