Lisa Ann Redd is from Vicksburg but currently living in Magee, MS. She is a preschool special education teacher at Mendenhall Elementary,
The state pageant was held in Madison on Saturday, March 12 at Madison Central High School. The national pageant will be held in Michigan in August.
Lisa Ann’s platform for the pageant was the lack of accessibility in the community, especially on school playgrounds.
Lisa Ann holds a bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, kayaking, horseback riding, and jet skiing. Indoor actives Lisa enjoys are reading. bowling, laser tag, movies, and playing games.
Lisa Ann has been in a wheelchair since she was five years old due to a tumor on her spinal cord.
Her parents are Ann and Herbert Redd of Magee (soon to be Seminary). Grandparents are the late Rev. David and Ollie Mayhall of Magee and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Redd, Sr. of all over Mississippi!
