Linda Jean Fischer, 79 of Taylorsville, MS passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 in Taylorsville, MS. She was born Saturday, June 22, 1946 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and so much more. She loved painting ceramic angels, putting together puzzles, and bird watching in her spare time. She was an avid bowler throughout her years, something she was able to enjoy with her husband wherever they lived. She also enjoyed watching drag races on the weekends. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, T. Wiseman; mother, Evelyn Wiseman; brothers, Cameron Wiseman and Lavoy Wiseman; and sister, Ramona Billings.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Upton (Brenda) and Victor Fischer; sisters, Rada Brown, Marilyn Graves; grandchildren, Christina Westbrook (Michael), Anthony Fischer, Dustin Fischer, Edward Fischer, Nikki Greer, Timothy Upton and Donnie Upton; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
