Several members of the legislature raised $9,000 to purchase a steer during the Sale of Junior Champions at Dixie Nationals.  The group purchased the Reserved Grand Champion Steer from Ayden and Paxton Wolken from Mendenhall for $10,000.

The steer was then donated to the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association for their annual steer raffle.
