Laura Ashley Promoted To SBA Closing Officer
At Peoples Bank
MAGEE –Dennis Ammann, President and Chief Executive Officer at Peoples Bank, today announced that Laura Ashley has been promoted to Small Business Administration (SBA) Closing Officer.
In her new role, Ms. Ashley will process SBA 7(a) loans and continue working with bank’s loan officers to create loan packages that best suit each customer’s unique loan needs. Additionally, she will train new hires in all areas of the SBA loan process and maintain SBA pipeline reports to senior management. She will work in the bank’s Magee Office.
Previously, Ashley had worked in both Operations and Audit departments of Peoples bank, before joining the SBA team.
Ms. Ashley received her AAS degree in Legal Studies from Otero Jr. College in La Junta, Colorado. She has also completed numerous training sessions and courses as required by the SBA and Peoples Bank. Before joining Peoples Bank, she had more than 14 years of banking experience.
She is married to Eli Ashley and has one son, Ethan Durr.
“Laura has been instrumental in training new department employees to accommodate our growth. Also, her help streamlining our closing procedures to make the department more efficient has been huge,” Ammann said. “Our SBA loan customers will continue to benefit from her experience and expertise.”
