Lathan E. Williams, 83, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Friday, January 15th, 2021 at Magee General Hospital. He was born in Lexington, MS on Sunday, January 31, 1937.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18th, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, with graveside services following at Lakewood Cemetery in Clinton at 2:00 P.M. Bro. Royce Hayman of Canton will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Nettie Williams; ten brothers and seven sisters and son, Richard (Tiger) Reed of Magee.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Nell Williams, children; Dudley Williams of Mendenhall, Steve Reed (Rose) of Florida, Steve Williams (Misti) of Clinton, Roger Williams of Jackson, Dianne Reed Varner (Dwight) of Brandon, Donna Blake (Frank) of Florence, and Michelle Reed Adcox of Mendenhall, as well as nineteen grandchildren and twenty- seven great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; Adam Varner, Spud Williams, Steph Williams, Daniel Blake, Ben Adcox, and Steven Reed.
