Kelvin Mortimer King Jr., the son of Kelvin and Vanessa King was born on March 17, 1990. He departed his life journey on February 11, 2022, in Plano, Texas.

Kelvin made sure he enjoyed life to the fullest. He valued his family and friends. Kelvin was a jack of all trades, eager to learn, witty, and a fast-paced individual. He loved doing hair and spending time with family/friends. He also was reserved and quiet at times.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Maudekiah King Sr. and Dora King and maternal grandfather, Robert Sudduth.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Kelvin and Vanessa King of Magee, MS; two sisters, Jamin King and Danelle King; his lovely niece, Londyn Loper; grandmother; Alice Sudduth of Natchez, MS.; paternal aunts, Marion Jackson, Jaqueline King, Dolores McDonald of Magee, MS., Dr. Constance Parkman (Kendrick) of Hattiesburg, MS.; uncles, Maudekiah King Jr. (Pamela), Mark King of Magee, MS; Malcolm King (Nicole) of Austin, TX, Marlin King (LaVonda) of Arlington, TX.; maternal aunts; Patricia Sudduth (Rico), Debbie Scott (Nick), Jacqlyn Sudduth (Dewayne) of Natchez, MS; Roberta Washington (Pigana) of Houston, TX, Raymond Sudduth (Venus) of Baltimore, Maryland.

Kelvin was blessed with many cousins, friends, and loved ones that loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm.

A graveside service will be held at King Cemetery at 1:00 pm.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
