After numerous contacts concerning an issue at the Superintendent of Education office…I am posting the following information as given to me by the county office. A question has risen about some athletic equipment and a federal grant. I’m just going to the source.
“The school district is not involved in any litigation concerning contracts or contract disputes, nor has it been threatened with any such litigation by any party.”
“At the end of the fiscal year there are always numerous contracts and agreements to be renewed and renegotiated. We have finalized or are in the process of completing between 30 and 40 of these agreements.”
“There are always contract terms and language to be worked out, but there is no indication that any suit or legal action is going to result from this process.”
“You can feel free to confirm this with our Board attorney if you wish to.”
