The Magee Junior High Trojan football teams played the Florence Middle School Eagles football teams Tuesday night, September 25th.
Our seventh grade boys, under the leadership of Head Coach Eric Thurman and quarterback Anthony Barnes (#7,) made several attempts to move the ball down the field. Unsuccessful, the Trojans lost their game 0-6.
Our eighth grade boys, under the leadership of Head Coach Tim White and quarterback Tristan Newsome (#1), tried for a comeback. However, due to a weather cancellation, the teams only played half a game. Despite their efforts, the eighth grade Trojans were also unsuccessful at putting points on the board resulting in the Eagles defeating the Trojans 0-6.
Please come out and support your Junior High Trojan football teams next Tuesday, October 2, at the Richland Rangers’ Football Stadium. The seventh grade Trojans will play at 5:00 and the eighth grade Trojans will play at 6:00.
