He’s baaaccckkk… On his phone, that is 😀 He also has walked twice today-2 laps each time- and he ate a few bites of breakfast… Waiting on lunch now… He got off to a slow start this morning but I’ve seen improvement in the last couple of hours now… He even got beautified by his Daddy 😂
Update on Junior: yesterday turned out to be a wonderful day🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 They were able to leave the nose piece on for longer periods of time and he sat in a chair and drank a Boost! The plan today is to start him walking and continue to wean him off the bipap mask🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I want to PRAISE as much as I’ve PRAYED and I can tell you – I have felt GODS love more than I can express both directly from Him and through HIS people … It has been an incredibly emotional and exhausting week but through it all- we have felt the outpouring of love and felt the power of prayer. Our Heavenly Father is such an awesome God and so good to us all the time 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Perhaps part of what Junior has went through happened to bring someone to know our Lord or draw us closer to him… I know there was a multitude of us joined together praying and believing and while I ask that the prayers continue… It’s also time to give THANKS and testify about GODS GRACE 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Update 9:52 am…2/18/2019 I came back in at 8:30 and they had put the nose piece on just a few minutes before- he is sill wearing it and has not had any distress 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 The pulmonary doctor just came in and I told him I am amazed how well he is doing … He said, “I didn’t have anything to do with”. I told him we KNOW who did 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Newest update at 10:30 am… I’m so excited that I have a PRAISE report to share🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I asked y’all to pray for a miracle and I believe we are seeing one unfold right before my eyes! When I came in the room at 8:30, they took the mask off and put the nose piece on- it has powered forced air like the mask but not as strong- so far, he has been ok with it… He got to have an ice cube and his hand shot up in the air with a hallelujah- it blessed the heart of everyone of us in the room! Then a few sips of water and now, he’s on his second little cup 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 First time he’s had anything to drink since Monday night … He’s got a long way to go but this is a HUGE step forward! I know GOD has heard all of our prayers and he is answering 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Latest update 12:49 … Ctscan and SNIFF test are both good and Junior has been improving throughout the day 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Slowly but surely… We haven’t talked to a doctor yet but the nurse is happy with his progress today.. Those prayers are working y’all … He’s still on the bipap but they are weaning him down and so far, he can tolerate it ❤️🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
We have a large medical team working on Junior and we still don’t know what’s wrong… They have decided it is definitely not his heart (the heart repair was a success and it is working correctly 🙌🏻)- it is respiratory as he cannot breathe without the ventilator but they haven’t found the problem. They are leaning toward the lungs and were able to do a sonogram yesterday and have started him on steroids. Today they will reevaluate him and decide what to do next. He is alert and tries to talk a little but it’s very difficult to understand him with the bipap mask on. We love each of you and covet and appreciate your prayers.
Ann worked at PriorityOne Bank, and Cotton worked for the city of Magee. Junior is loved by so many people in Magee and the surrounding area. He has been involved with the Dixie National Wagon Train for years.
