Judith Boone Purser Dillon

Judith Dillon of Byram, MS, 67, went to her heavenly home on November 10, 2022.
She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was born on August 3, 1955 to John Houston Boone and Tressie Jane Husband Boone. Mama was always taking care of others. She had a servant’s heart and loved the Lord with all she had and it showed in her daily life.
Visitation will be held at Puckett Baptist Church from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Puckett Baptist Church in Puckett, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Puckett Cemetery. Bro. Alvin Doyle and Bro. Grant McElveen will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401
She is preceded in death by her parents, John H. Boone and Tressie J. Boone, brother Michael Dwayne Boone Sr, sister Rebecca Diane Pickering, nephew Michael Dwayne Boone Jr and first husband Jimmy W. Purser Sr.
She is survived by her husband James L. Dillon, daughters Missy Johnson(Cris), Candis Ivy(Rusty), sons Jimmy W. Purser, II (Angie), and Jack Larry Boone Purser(Keela), stepsons James Dillon (Bette) and Kevin Dillon (Regina), grandsons Jimmy W. Purser, III,(McKenna), Andrew Ivy, Jack Purser and Benji Purser, step grandson Haydon Dillon, granddaughters Judith “Katie” Sonnenberg (Cody), McKenzie Purser, Tressie Jane Johnson(Morgan), Madeline Purser (Scott), Aleyna Ivy, Olivia Purser and step granddaughter Joycelyn Dillon, great grandsons Cayson Moran, Nash Parrish, Milo Thompson and step great grandson Rossy Dillon, great granddaughter Laynie Sonnenberg and step great granddaughter Nolia Dillon, brother Larry Boone (Nan),a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association or The Marfan Foundation.
