Joseph McGovern, 24, of  Mendenhall passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 He was born Friday, March 26, 1993 in Collins, MS.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee.  Bro. Ryan May and Bro. Trent Sullivan will officiate.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031

He is preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Dean Adcox and Bobby McGovern;  Aunt, Wanda Pope.

Survivors include his Parents, Joseph McGovern and Kathy McGovern, Mendenhall; the mother of his two children, Natley Tullos; brother, William Cox, Mendenhall; sons, Joseph Dawayne McGovern and Randy Samuell McGovern, Mendenhall; grandmother, Betty Adcox, Mendenhall and  grandmother, Dean McGovern, Magee; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dalton McGovern,  Randy Hartley,  Matt Hale,  Max Lee,  Nathan McGovern and  Doug May.
