The Magee Development and Improvement Committee is sponsoring a clean up at the Magee Police Department on Thursday, May 19th from 3:30-5:30 PM.

The committee is composed of local citizens anxious to see a change in the appearance of our community.  Members of the committee are :  Dot Nichols, Tyler Cheramine. Jeff Blackwell, Celestine Walker, Kim Neely,  and Lynn Duncan.  Sue Honea, Alderman at Large, is the Committee Chairman.  Anyone interested in serving on the Committee should contact Sue.

The PD clean up is an opportunity for local students to obtain Community Service Hours.

Weed eaters, shovels, rakes, hoes, clippers etc are needed for the project.  Donations of pine straw are a method citizens who cannot attend the clean up day can participate and promote the project.  At this time, we have three pressure washers for use.

Please encourage our citizens to show support and encouragement to our police department.  We need everyone to make this project a success.
