John C Statham, 86, of Collins, passed from this life Friday, April 1, 2016 at Simpson General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 03, 2016 at Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Bro Lonnie Mozingo. Burial will be in Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 02, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
Mr. Statham is survived by step-son – Donald Burch of Petal; brother – Kenneth Statham of Mendenhall; sister – Mary Humphries of LA, son – Tommy Statham of Columbia.
Mr. Statham is preceded in death by his wife- Martha M Statham; parents, Malcom Statham and (Janie) Nancy; son – Johnny Mack Statham; sister – Evelyn Jenkins, brothers – Bill Statham and Gene Statham, sister-in-laws – Phyliss Burch and Sybil Burch, grand children – Johnny Mack Burch, Jr. and Mark Burch.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Burch, Craig Jones, Mike Mathis, and Jessie Burch.
