Jimmy Taylor, 79, of Pinola, passed from this life Saturday, January 9, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pinola. Bro. Roger Lee, Rev. Mike Thornton and Rev. David Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pinola.
Surviving Family Members: Daughters – Susan Jones (George),and Lynn Myers (Hardin), Grand Children Earl Jones, Shannon Jones, TJ Jones, JW Jones, CK Myers, and Kristin Craft ; Great Grand Children – Madison Myers, Stephanie Myers, Haley Myers, Nathan Myers, Amber Jones, Blayne Lee, Brenna Lee, and Taylor Kite, Sister – Betty Taylor Brown Horton.
Preceded in death by his: Wife- Donnis Whittington Taylor, Parents – Estus Eugene Taylor and Marie Keen Taylor, Brothers – Eugene Taylor, Jr., Thomas Gene Taylor, and Wiley Taylor, Sister – Mary Alice Taylor Rice Meek,
Pallbearers will be: Earl Jones, TJ Jones, JW Jones, CK Myers, Chris Taylor, and Stevie Rice. Honorary Pallbearers will be: – Andy Taylor, Nathan Myers, Shane Taylor, Jay Taylor, and Michael Dean Taylor
