Jimmy Clyde Ramage, 83, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, February 1st 2020 at his home in Mendenhall, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, November 26, 1936.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 3, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Bro. Timothy Carlisle will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401
Mr. Ramage was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Braxton. He also was a member of the Mosaic Lodge 497 of Mendenhall. He also spent time in the National Guard. Mr. Jimmy was a great husband, amazing daddy, and exceptional grandfather.
He was preceded in death by parents, Willis and Tommieseal Ramage; foster parents, Zed and Oille Walker.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Louise Ramage; daughters, Cynitha Prince (Stephen) and Rebecca Boyd; grandchildren, Michelle Pickett (George), Robert Taylor (Lacey), Jenifer Thurman, Tiffany Carlisle (Timothy), Brittany Clark (Josh), Tyler Prince (Emily); thirteen great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; brother, Hilton Ramage; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Travis Kyzar, Stephen Prince, Colby Rankin, Devon Thurman, and Josh Spark Honorary pallbearers will be Riley Pickett, Devan Thurman, and Nathan Carlisle.
