JIMMY CHARLES INGRAM COLLINS, MS
Jimmy Charles Ingram passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the State Veterans Home in Collins, MS.
He was born on June 9, 1935, to the late Howard Ingram and Myrna Butler Ingram.
In his earlier years, he served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Later he went to work with the Mize Post Office in Mize, MS where he retired after thirty years.
Jimmy is survived by his son Mike Ingram (Donna); daughter, Marcia Ingram Barnett; grandchildren, Drew Ingram, Brad Ingram, Boyd Barnett (Beth) and Amy Barnett McIntosh (Nick); great-grandchildren, Savannah Barnett and Gabe Swain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Francis McCallum Ingram and son-in-law Phil Barnett.
Visitation for friends will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Mize, MS.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
