Jimmie Sims Morgan, 81, passed away Thursday May 25th 2017. Jimmie served in the U.S. Army 1953-1956 during the Korean conflict and U.S. Air Force 1956-1964. He was a beloved Father and grandfather. Jimmie is preceded in death by his wife Betty Morgan and his parents Dan and Mary Morgan.
He survived by his Children Sylvia McNeece (Michael), Ricky Morgan (Lara), Judy Speights (Steve), and Susan Mancil (Scott). He had eleven grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Visitation will be held at Star Baptist Church Monday, May 29, 2017 from 10:00am until service time. Funeral services will be held Monday,

May 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Star Baptist Church in Star, MS, Burial will follow in Star Cemetery in Star, MS. Bro. Vick Bowman and Bro. Allen Stephens will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements.(601)847-4401
