“Jeremy has been an incredible asset for North Mississippi and our Agency,” says Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann. “The growth in North Mississippi is fueled by hardworking citizens and strong leadership. Jeremy is a great compliment to those talents. We intend to expand our services so Mississippi business can operate as economically and efficiently as possible in their interaction with State government.”

As Assistant Secretary of State for North Mississippi, Jeremy is responsible for managing the North Mississippi offices in Tupelo and Hernando while representing the Secretary of State’s office in an official capacity at various meetings and events. Additionally, he will continue to serve as a liaison for the agency in the North Mississippi region.

“Eight years ago, Secretary Hosemann founded the Tupelo Office, bringing the services of our Jackson office conveniently to our friends in North Mississippi,” says Martin. “I am humbled and most appreciative to Secretary Hosemann for this promotion and to the thousands of Mississippi citizens who embraced this experiment and made it such a success.”

A native of Tupelo, Jeremy graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and received his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Jeremy was a teacher for six years before working for the Secretary of State’s office.

Jeremy currently lives in Eggville with his wife Vaunita and their daughter Marley. They are members of Basileia Baptist Church in Mooreville. Jeremy is actively involved in the Tupelo community where he served on the Board of Directors for the Tupelo Exchange Club, Auburn Civic Club and the Eight Days of Hope ministry. Additionally, Jeremy is an active member on the Lee County Republican Executive Committee.
