Janet A. Stuckey
(4/8/1960 – 11/15/2024)
Mrs. Jan Stuckey passed from this life on Friday, November 15, 2024.
She was a devout Christian and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved and praised her Lord and Savior all the days of her life. Her ministry and servant-hood came from faithfully playing the piano for her Heavenly Father from the age of 8 years old. She began playing for church worship at 17 and considered it an honor to use the talent God gave her for 47 wonderful years.
Mrs. Stuckey, as she was known to her students, faithfully taught with all of her heart for 38 years. She loved every student that walked through her classroom door and wanted nothing more than to teach them the love of Jesus and to equip them to succeed in life. She held a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree from William Carey University both in elementary education.
At the center of her heart was her family. She loved them with all of her being and anyone who talked with her immediately knew all about her husband and “my babies”. She loved them just as God designed a woman to be, selfless, nurturing, and a help-mate.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Hall, father and mother-in-law Earl and Velma Stuckey, brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Carlon Stuckey, sister-in-law Melissa Hall, and grandson Jasper Stuckey.
She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Glynn Stuckey; children Tony and Kozette Stuckey, Matthew and Courtnie Tally; grandchildren Gracie Stuckey, Sophia Stuckey, Isaac Tally, and Rebekah Tally; brothers Glenn Hall (Sharon) and Michael Hall (Stephanie): brother-in-law Carol Stuckey (Sandra); and many nieces and nephews.
Surely she heard, “Well done, Thy good and faithful servant.”
