Simpson County Achievement Center Principal, Terrell Luckey, and his staff held a reception for Jamie Jones Wednesday, May 20, 2021 honoring her retirement.
Jamie has decided to retire after 29.5 years of service in the education program.
Simpson County will miss such a veteran and seasoned employee.
A resolution adopted by the Simpson County School Board was read and presented to Jamie by Coach Luckey.
Several family, co-workers, administrators, and citizens were in attendance for the event.
The decorations were beautiful and the event was possible with the sponsorship of Petals and Blooms, Kristen Zila at Trustmark, Fountaine McNair at Priority One Bank, and Chris Dunn at Peoples Bank.
