After months of request and months of the city working to take care of the project, the trailer on 4th Avenue NW is gone!  Yes, my friends, the trailer spot is without litter.

Friday morning, June 14, 2019, the city crew gathered the last load of junk and hauled the mess to the county dump.

Thanks to my alderman Matthew Hickman for putting up with my fussing.  Matthew never let this situation go…he kept on pushing.  With the help of Mayor Berry, the area is clear of debris!

Don’t worry, Matthew, I will have another project soon!  We must clean up our city!

I already called Matthew about a blue commode on the side of a street…and it’s gone!

Your aldermen want to help you.  They want to know your concerns.  No one likes fussing and cussing…just give them a call or post your need on the City of Magee FaceBook page with contact information.  I think you’ll see a difference when you ask about specific problem areas.  Don’t just talk about the situation to others…call or message your alderman.

We as city tax payers expect response to our needs.

(Sue note:  you can always send me info about a need in our city.  I will be glad to pass on the request.)
