The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Romans 15:4: “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” The Word of God has purpose and meaning for the believer. It provides instruction, encouragement, and hope. As I have often been told by so many people far wiser than myself, “If you have questions, just look in the Book.” Yes, within the pages of the divine Word, lies the wisdom of all the ages. God has provided that which we need to help keep us on the straight and narrow as we march toward the goal, the crown of life awaiting the Christian. Rely on the Holy Spirit, pray diligently, read the BIBLE, search through its pages, and find the answers to your problems. Amen!
