On February 3, 2016, the Magee Police Department responded to Walmart for a shoplifter. Officer Matt Sullivan and Officer Joey Shows responded and found Jerry Windham in possession of a stolen pellet rifle from Walmart. Officers found in the truck of the vehicle approximately $400 worth of meat from a grocery store in Collins. Jerlisa Windham was arrested for possession of stolen property from Collins. Chief Investigator Joey Womack interviewed Jerlisa, who admitted that the meat was stolen and that her husband Jerry also had stolen approximately three or four TV’s from Wal-Mart on a several month period. Walmart did have four TV’s, clothes and grocery’s stolen from Walmartt from this group with an estimated value of $1780.30. Jerry Windham was charged with misdemeanor possession of stolen property from Collins and a felony Grand Larceny from Magee. The Grand Larceny bond was set at $25,000. Jerlisa Windham was charged with possession of stolen property misdemeanor from Collins and Accessory to Grand Larceny from Walmart in Magee. Jerlisa bond was set at $5,000.00.
