Linda Pruitt of Hand’s Nursery gave me a lesson on care of a poinsettia. I love poinsettias! Now, that flower is truly a sign of Christmas.
Poinsettias don’t require a lot of heat. According to Linda, one of the worse conditions for a poinsettia is the heat vent blowing on the plant or a room too warm.
Poinsettias like cool air…not to hot and not to cold! They do not require a lot of light.
The plant needs a lot of water if a room is warm. If the plant becomes dry, water!
Check out Linda’s video.
