The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Did you know that the BIBLE was the earliest textbook used in schools here in the United States? This Scripture attests to its importance in daily training and instruction with the hope that everyone would grow up to respect and honor the Word of God. Scripture is, you see, divinely-inspired by God, as we who believe accept by faith. The evil one would have us question that, of course. Let us, therefore, hold fast to the faith of our fathers, believe on the Lord, Jesus Christ, and uphold His infallible Word and apply it to our daily lives. It is the “living” Word. “Spirit of the living God, fall fresh on me.” Amen!
