By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for today is found in Hebrews 1:9: “You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore, God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.” Yes, the believer becomes separate and set apart by God because of the believer’s acceptance of God’s gift of salvation. One of the many riches bestowed upon the believer by God is the gift of joy, but it must never be hidden or held in abeyance. It’s meant to be shared so others can see Jesus, the Light of the world, through us, His children. Share the joy, the love, and the kindness each and every day.
Happy Thursday!
