The Scriptural passage for the morning is found in Philippians 2:13: “It is God, Who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.” Those who follow closely the precepts found in God’s Word are guided by the Holy Spirit in making wise choices. He will guide us with His eye, as the gospel song puts it. The chorus tells us: “He will guide me with His eye. On His promise, I rely. All the way from earth to Glory, He will guide me with His eye.” Let’s allow God to be the Guide in our lives to keep us on course. Without Him, we have no direction other than our own.
