Hayes Berry of Magee served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. Hayes is pictured with his father, Senator Andy Berry, who sponsored his visit.

Hayes is the son of Andy and Jennifer Berry and attends Simpson County Academy.

When asked about the week, Hayes said, “I really enjoyed watching my dad, Senator Andy Berry, work in the Senate. It was fascinating to see how the Mississippi Legislature operates and to be around all the senators.

I also loved meeting new people and had a great time during my week as a Senate page.”
