Students at Mt. Zion Christian Academy enjoyed a harvest festival before dismissing for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Friday, November 20. The MZCA Accelerated Program students planned the event, raising funds for the jump house and obstacle course, as well as the game prizes by holding a pulled pork fundraiser earlier this fall. In addition to providing the funds needed for the fall festival, the fundraiser raised money for the school.
Students enjoyed games like “Pin the Tail Feathers on the Turkey,” “Stuff the Turkey,” and more.
They also had the opportunity to make turkey hats for the Thanksgiving celebration.
Upon arrival at school Friday morning, students were greeted by a Happy Harvest sign from Sign Dreamers of Magee, which featured pumpkins, turkeys, and other fall items.
After the fun morning, students and their families enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
