Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
Our 2020 Memorial Day certainly has a different look than in the past!…but the meaning stays the same. A day of remembering and honoring the men and women who died while serving.

My daddy, F. J. Dickey, was a veteran of World War !!. As I sat in church this morning and tried to think of the people I know who died while serving, names like James Williams who graduated from Magee High School…Davis Martin another MHS graduate…these young men gave their lives for my freedom. As Brother Jim said this morning, “freedom is not free.”
Thank you for the men and women who died that I can live in a free country. Thank you to Jesus who died that I may have ever lasting life.
Blessings on this day.
