colin102Copiah Lincoln Community College, Simpson Campus, celebrated the 10th Anniversary of operation Wednesday September 2, 2015.

It was great to have former Co-Lin Presidents Dr. Billy Thames, and Dr. Howell Garner, as well as the past Deans/Vice Presidents Dr. Billy Stewart, and Dr. John Dickerson in attendance.

A great job of hosting was done by current Vice President Dr. Dewayne Middleton and his staff.

A Luncheon was provided and former vice presidents and staff gave a look back on the years they served.

In 2005 Colin’s Simpson Campus started with 180 students. Today they are averaging around 600 students.

colin10Emily Booth Collins, Admission Director, was the first student to enroll in the Simpson Campus. After graduation she has found her way back to where she stated and is now an employee of  the Colin Simpson Campus as Admissions Director.

Today, ten years later, there are still seven of the original staff members working for Colin.

Thanks to the faculty, staff, students and the vision of the Simpson County Board of Supervisors and civic leaders! Without all of you this would not be possible today.

Also a special thanks to Lisa Bodin from the Wesson Campus who handled the event planning.
