Robert Grubbs, Simpson Academy student, has been selected to attend American Legion Boys State Program which takes place at Ole Miss May 26 – June 1st.
JBoys State is the premiere leadership program for rising high school seniors in Mississippi. Delegates are challenged to not just learn about Government, Leadership, and Service; but to put their knowledge into practice.
Along the way, delegates will hear from elected state leaders, prepare for college, and make friendships that will last a lifetime.
The American Legion is dedicated to strengthening America. We believe there is no better way to this end than to work with our nation’s youth in order to prepare them for the tasks they will face in the years to come. The American Legion, through its youth activities programs, plays a leading role in the development of tomorrow’s informed, responsible citizens.
