Diverse works by eleven graduating fine art majors at Mississippi State are on display April 21-28 in two university art galleries.

Free and open to all, the weeklong Bachelor of Fine Arts thesis exhibition, “Epitome,” features images reflecting the students’ successful conclusion of research, writing, presentation and advanced studio practice, as well foundational coursework, survey, art history, academic and emphasis classes.

An opening reception takes place at 5-6 p.m. April 21 in the McComas Hall Art Gallery, with student introductions beginning at 5:45 p.m. Also that day, a separate reception will be held 6-7 p.m. in the Visual Arts Center Gallery at 808 University Drive. Complimentary refreshments will be provided at both locations.
