Governor Tate Reeves, Attorney General Lynn Fitch, and Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell will co-host the Second Annual Mississippi Public Safety Summit on May 20-22, 2024, at The Refuge in Flowood, Mississippi.
“The Mississippi Public Safety Summit is a great way to highlight the incredible work of our state’s law enforcement officers, first responders, and prosecutors,” said Governor Tate Reeves. “These public servants courageously serve Mississippians every single day, and it’s an honor to recognize their selfless sacrifice. Mississippi will always be grateful to them and their families.”
“Every day, brave and dedicated men and women serve our communities as first responders, prosecutors, and law enforcement,” said Attorney General Lynn Fitch. “They are the bedrock of our State, providing stability, comfort, and security. The Mississippi Public Safety Summit is about taking care of their needs, giving them tools to become better leaders, helping them navigate their common challenges, and recognizing their outstanding service.”
“Hosting the Mississippi Public Safety Summit again this year is truly an honor. Our law enforcement officers, firefighters, and prosecutors play vital roles in ensuring the safety of our state and its citizens,” said Mississippi Department of Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell. “Their dedication and sacrifice is commendable, and I’m grateful for the chance to come together, collaborate, build and create relationships, and support their crucial work.”
Like last year, the 2024 Summit will bring together state and local law enforcement, prosecutors, and first responders from across our state to discuss the challenges facing public safety and criminal justice networks and hear from speakers to help find solutions.
