As I sit here early on “Good Friday”, I am ashamed as I acknowledge that my sin put stripes on Jesus body, my sin caused him to suffer unimaginable pain and humiliation, my sin put drove the nails into his hands and feet, and my sin caused him to die. “Thank you” seems so inadequate! I have forgiveness of my sin because of his suffering and his death. I have the promise of eternal life because of his death and glorious resurrection. I am so unworthy, but so grateful. To show my appreciation for my gift of forgiveness and eternal life, I am resolving to live a life that loves and forgives, does not judge, and share my wonderful salvation with a lost and dying world!
Praise God! It’s Friday, but SUNDAY is coming!!!
