The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 19:14: “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, oh, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” The psalmist pays homage to his Lord in words many of us quote from time to time to show God’s place of supremacy in our lives. It’s, at the same time, a proclamation of the psalmist’s position of grateful servant. He relied on the Lord for all his needs and sought to please Him in all he said and did. We, as Christians of today, should do no less. God wants our love and loyalty as we make our daily walk. “To God be the glory. Great things He has done!” Amen!
Happy Friday! “Keep telling the story, be faithful and true. Let others see Jesus in you.” Sing or hum that beloved old hymn throughout the day.
