The Scriptural passage for today is found in Nahum 1:7: “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.” The prophet of old spoke these words of comfort given him directly by God. It is God to whom the prophet points them, assuring them that God is good and will shelter them in both the good and bad times if they but put their trust in Him. God loves His children and only wants good things for them. We today should listen to the words of the prophet and cling to God, rely on Him, and put our complete trust in Him to deliver and keep us on our earthly journey. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! Amen!
