The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Hosea 6:3: “Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” Praise be to our Lord and Savior. The prophet of old was faithful in telling God’s chosen people that God was ever-present, ever-faithful, and makes His presence known continually through all of His creation. God manifests Himself in each sunrise and through every shower of rain. May we in our daily walk be as aware of God’s closeness to us as was Hosea. “My God and I go in the fields together. We walk and talk as good friends should and do.” Amen!
