Angela Welborn was charged with simple assault concerning a fight that took place between her two daughters and another teenager.  Outside sources reported that the mother arranged the fight because of a group text.

 

The fight took place on the highway near the Smith/Covington County line and was witnessed and filmed by several bystanders.

 

Welborn was granted bond but was given instructions not to contact the teen by any type social media.
