Fontelle Ginn, 93 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Strong River Villa in Mendenhall, MS. She was born Wednesday, November 6, 1929 in Tylertown, MS
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Jupiter Baptist Church in Braxton, and on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 8:00 A.M. until service time. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Jupiter Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Jupiter Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Danny Powell will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401
Ms. Ginn was a faithful member of Jupiter Baptist Church. She was loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed cooking, talking, and spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Otera Owens; brothers, Roger Glenn Owens and Phillip Owens; son-in-law, Wesley Bowen; daughter-in-law, Judy Ginn.
Survivors include her children, Dewit Ginn, Carolyn Sartin (Bobby) and Linda Bowen; grandchildren, Eric Bowen, Brian Bowen (Casey ), Brett Bowen (Lindy), Rebecco Kindrex (Scott), Sean Sartin (Amy) and Andy Ginn (Jessie ); great grandchildren, Brandon Bowen (Brooke), Austin Bowen, Alex Sartin, Landon Bowen, Dawson Bowen, Rylan Bowen, Sydney Kindrex, Lindsey Olney (Brett ), Caleb Kindrex, Wyatt Ginn, Ashton Hargon; great-great grandchildren, Adaline Bowen and Keaton Olney; sister, Lanelle Huhn
