COLLINS, Miss – With flu season upon us, Covington County Hospital clinics are ready with vaccines to immunize against this year’s strain of influenza. Yearly flu shots are recommended for everyone six months of age and older, ideally by the end of October for the best protection.

Flu shots are free at any of the CCH clinics with proof of insurance. Patients without insurance will be charged $25. No appointment is necessary to obtain a flu shot.

Flu shots are available in Covington County at Family Medical Associates on the CCH campus, Family Care Express next to Pizza Hut, Express Care Drive-Thru next to the Civic Center, Family Care Seminary, and Green Tree Family Medical Clinic in Mt. Olive.
