City of Magee Board of Aldermen Agenda June 2, 2026

June 1, 2026

GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS AROUND 10 TO 15 MPH AND GUSTS TO 25 MPH WILL BE
POSSIBLE TODAY. AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BE IN THE 28
TO 35 PERCENT RANGE. GIVEN DRY CONDITIONS ALREADY IN PLACE OVER THE
REGION AND THESE INCREASED WIND SPEEDS…THERE IS A LIMITED RISK OF
INCREASED FIRE DANGER OVER THE REGION. BURN BANS ARE IN PLACE FOR
SEVERAL COUNTIES IN THE AREA.

As you can see, the fire danger threat is still prevalent. The fire dangers may actually increase over the next few days until some expected rain arrives & alleviates the situation. Please advise all concerned that a suspension of all outdoor burning is still in effect for the City of Magee.
Thank you,
Charles Valadie
Fire Marshal
