A fatal wreck on highway 84 in Collins early Tuesday (September 22nd) involved a school bus. No children were injured on the bus.
According to emergency officials, there are multiple fatalities from other vehicles that were involved in the wreck.

16 children were on the bus. One child was taken to the hospital others were transported to their local schools.
A Jeep Cherokee clipped the school bus and then rolled several times ejecting two of the three passengers. The three men were from Jefferson Davis County on their way to work at the chicken plant in Collins. The two men ejected were killed. The driver of the vehicle is in serious condition at an area hospital.
Names are not being withheld until next of kin are notified.
Victims Identified
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, , Keannie Love, 20 of Hattiesburg and Lishanay Wilks, 23 of Prentiss were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle.
The driver of the Jeep Cherokee was Senah Carter of Prentiss. Carter is listed in critical condition.
