Magee’s annual Veteran’s Day activities were held Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Magee Armed Services Park.  The Park is located under the flagpole on the highway near Sears and in front of Zips on Highway 49.

The event was well attended.  Joe Worrell, City of Magee, planned and orchestrated the celebration.  Veterans, active service members, family members, and friends were in attendance.

The large flagpole holds the American and Mississippi flags.  The six smaller flagpoles represent each branch of the Armed Service and Prisoners of War.

I have so many great pictures!  I am going to share them on several articles Monday and Tuesday.  If you know the names of some of the people in the pictures, please email me the information.
